Schoenstatt Fathers are involved in social projects in different parts of the world. Back in 1983, Fr Hernán Alessandri (1935-2007) started María Ayuda in Chile, to help young girls who had prostitution as their only way to survive. By that time, other Schoenstatt Fathers were already working in Soweto, South Africa, during the most difficult times of Apartheid. And our commitment in the social area has been growing ever since.

‘MeinWeg’: Going abroad with Schoenstatt

‘MeinWeg’  is a young students’ initiative that aims to facilitate meaningful experiences abroad.

At ‘MeinWeg’ we combine our wonderful experiences from our own volunteer work abroad with our connection to the Schoenstatt Movement. Since we feel at home in this international Christian movement, we want to give young people an opportunity to get to know the diversity and commitment of the Schoenstatt Movement in its worldwide projects.
