La Provincia Pentecostés de los Padres de Schoenstatt fue erigida canónicamente el 9 de agosto de 1966 en la Arquidiócesis de Santiago de Chile, siendo su primer superior el actual Cardenal Francisco Javier Errázuriz.

The Schoenstatt Movement was brought to Portugal in 1960. Schoenstatt Pallottines at the beginning, and Schoenstatt Fathers from 1965 on have always been part of the history of the four Movement centres that exist at the present, in the dioceses of Aveiro, Braga, Lisbon and Porto.
