The first Indian Schoenstatt Father to be ordained was Fr Roy Vennookaran, in 1994. Since then, our Indian Region has been the fastest growing community, with 56 fathers and 45 students and novices (February 2015).

On August 2015, the former Indian Region was restructured in the form of two new Regions: the MTA Region with seat in the State of Tamil Nadu, and the Providence Region with seat in the State of Kerala. 

The formation houses (novitiate and study house) for the vocations of both Regions remain in Bangalore, Karnataka. Here is a presentation video produced in our seminary in Bangalore:
