From 28 February to 16 April, our Superior General carried out a visitation to the confreres of the Pentecost Province living in Chile. He visited twelve houses and held more than fifty personal conversations. He also visited several schools and other institutions belonging to the Province, run in accordance with the Schoenstatt charism, such as the social project María Ayuda.
“As I travelled through the different cities and shrines where our Fathers are present, I was able to witness active participation in the Movement’s activities, including among the youth. After years of difficulties marked by a social and ecclesial crisis, a new vitality is evident that fills us with hope and a sense of the future,” said Fr Alexandre at the end of the visitation.
The visitation culminated with a visit to our Euro-American seminary, the ‘Colegio Mayor P. José Kentenich’, which has recently undergone structural renovations that have further enhanced community life. It currently has 28 seminarians from 11 different nationalities, accompanied by three formators. Life at the seminary is marked by a profound apostolic spirit, contributing significantly to the work of the Schoenstatt Movement in Chile, especially the Schoenstatt Men’s Youth.
