Between 13 and 16 April 2026, the Bellavista Shrine in Santiago, Chile, was the setting for an enriching experience of community life for the Schoenstatt Fathers of the Americas. During these days, 22 Fathers and students from various generations and countries gathered for the Meeting of Course and Generation Leaders to share the journey and life of the communities. The meeting culminated on Thursday with a visit to our Study House, the Colegio Mayor, and the celebration of the Eucharist together with the students, sealing these days of exchange in an atmosphere of fraternity.
An impulse of life: The Christ of Sion
Based on what was shared, the participants have conveyed a synthesis centred on the life current centered in Jesus Christ, which is felt very strongly in the Community today. The central reflection is an invitation to “enter into the heart of the Christ of Sion”, recognising that Jesus is not merely an idea, but a living presence in the daily life of each group.
This “heart” is presented to us as a place of sincere encounter where it is possible to share one’s own reality honestly, finding in Jesus a friend who encourages us to walk together. It is a Christ who reveals himself through traits that embrace both fragility and hope, forming a current of life that strengthens dedication and service to the entire Schoenstatt Family.
