It is Pentecost! Not only in the liturgy but also in the minds and in the hearts of the participants in the International Pentecost Congress in Schoenstatt, where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed. It is a document that expresses the common interests of the representatives of 25 countries and of many projects, communities and branches of the Movement who participated. It is about the new beginning of our Movement in the second century of its history.

For us Schoenstatt Fathers it also addresses the commitment of our Sion Community to serve this life - even more to cultivate and promote this new life, especially by being among the first to integrate it in our everyday work and make it a reality.

Schoenstatt Pfingstkongress FotoBrehmWhere each one of us perceives his task at the present time, and where some of us will face new challenges in the period after the General Chapter (5 to 30 August 2015), that's where we are called to develop the new Schoenstatt that we carry in our hearts.

We are invited to read and pray through the Memorandum and let it become flesh and spirit in us. What is formulated there - and the longings that lie behind and that sometimes you have to guess between the lines - the realization of this "Schoenstatt on the Move" - it will shape our lives in the coming years and it will give our priestly commitment a new meaning and purpose.
